Panamanian People are quite rich in their aesthetic senses, for that they have developed a natural taste for music and theatre activities, they have invested quite a lot to develop the theatres around the country, Genaro Ruggieri designed the Teatro Nacional or the National Theatre of the republic which is one place you must visit. The National Theatre was inaugurated in 1908, and since then this theatre is one of the greatest to visit in Panama and gives you a glance of the real cultural heritage in Panama. The building is magnificently made, with towering columns and brilliant interior designs, the theatre is now under the National Institute of art and culture and has become the pride of the country.
