The Cenegon Del Mangle Wildlife Refuge is in the Herrera Province and consists of 2470 acres of wetlands, coastal lagoons, and marine environments, this area is prone to floods because of overflowing from the Santa Maria River and particularly in winter time, usually water disappears in dry season, the area has a spectacular natural beauty that attracts the people from all over the world.
You may find small thermal wells in wildlife refuge of Cenegon Del Mangle, earlier these thermal wells were used as baths because for their medicinal benefits, in addition, the area is often visited by marsh birds, white herons or nocturnal herons, you can even find mammals such as otters. This is a home to reptiles like crocodiles and enormous boa constrictors, the wildlife refuge provides a memorable adventurous experience that im sure you will remember throughout your life.
